Ernst Stückelberg (Johann Melchior Ernst Stickelberger) is a Swiss painter from Basel. He was one of the most popular artists of his generation, of romantic tradition, producing many paintings of various themes (portraits, village scenes, allusions to history). It took the name Stückelberg in 1881.
