Description
Michel Petiot took an interest in painting very early on, and in 1972 he joined the courses at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Beaune.
He then lets all the values of the people of the South express themselves, all in bursts of color that collide and complement each other through flat areas that respond to each other,
for the greatest viewing pleasure.
His influences are from Nicolas de Staël, Cézanne and Matisse at the same time.
In 1985, the Vendôme gallery in Paris noticed his work and exhibited it permanently, thus launching his professional career.
In just a few years, he built the Micha signature, which exhibited throughout France, but also around the world (Canada, United States, Japan, etc.) and forge an international reputation.
Knight of Arts and Letters, Micha has seen his career rewarded with numerous awards:
1st prize still life,
1st prize for flower painting and 3rd prize for landscape at the Deauville salon in 1983,
1st prize of the Seven Hills in Rome in 1985,
1st prize still life at the Cannes International Grand Prix in 1985,
silver medal at the Leonardo da Vinci salon in 1986
